Choreography Projects
At SEDA, we strive to provide performance opportunities and to showcase our Choreographer’s works and works-in-progress. This season we will be offering projects at various times to provide additional creative experiences. Dancers participate by being involved in the creation and performance of a Contemporary dance piece created by one of Seda Dance’s Teachers or Guest Choreographers. SEDA showings will be scheduled based on pieces ready for performance and some pieces may be selected for the SEDA performance in June. Choreography projects are rehearsal based with no classwork or warm up. Dancers must apply for each project and are subject to approval by choreographer. Regular attendance is a must.

A Winter’s Gift
A Community Outreach Ballet Choreography Project with Miyouki Jego - All Levels Welcome!
Rehearsal Dates: September 20th to November 22nd
Saturdays 4:50-5:50pm at Seda Dance Arts
Performance: Sunday Afternoons in December (7, 14 & 21 TBD) at Long term care homes across Victoria
Cost: $250 +GST per dancer (10 Rehearsals / 10 Hours)

Contemporary Choreography Project

Dancer Level: Intermediate and above
Rehearsal Dates: Sept 29 - Oct 27 OR Sept 29-Nov 3 (exc Oct 13)
Mondays 2-3:30pm at Seda Dance Arts
(5 Rehearsals / 7.5 Hours) + 2.5 HRS TBD to clean before shows
Performances: Spring TBD & June End Year Show
Cost: $250 +GST per dancer
