Registration
Claim your spot! Registration is meant for students wishing to commit to a weekly class for the full year. By registering you are guaranteed a spot in your class and receive many perks.
Your first payment includes a non- refundable $25 registration fee and your June fees which are a non-refundable deposit.
Registration is based on a 38 week studio year. Late registration will be prorated based on the number of weeks remaining in the course.
PERKS OF REGISTRATION
Growth and Improvement! Your body responds best to consistent, regular classes. Our classes are designed progressively and your class will be building on material constantly. For physical strength building, injury prevention, and to get the most out of your training and experience, consistency in class is important.
We save you a spot! By registering, you are guaranteed a spot in your class, without having to sign up each day. Drop-in dancers are welcome space permitting, however the class will focus on the needs and progress of registered dancers.
Performance! Seda’s year end show is an experience exclusive to registered full-year students. This enriching and wonderful opportunity is a showcase of all our talent, dedication and hard-work.
Class Discounts! Dancers who are registered receive progressive discounts on class fees between 10% and 65%
Bonus Classes! Registered dancers receive a Flex Pass that allows them to attend additional classes for FREE!
FLEX PASS
We know you have a busy schedule and that sometimes things come up. Dancers who register for full-year classes will receive a Flex Pass, redeemable October 1st - June 16th. This pass may be used for making up a missed class or trying a new class at no charge. You do not have to miss a class to use your Flex Pass. Once a pass is used up, dancers must pay applicable drop-in fees. Flex Passes cannot be used for workshops, masterclasses, or sessional classes. This pass is non-transferable to another student, and expires June 16th, 2026 or at cancellation. It cannot be used in place of fees.
Performance
Classes labelled as “Performance” are a 10 month progressive course, and move into creation for our live performance at the year end show the week of June 17-21st. “Open” classes are non-performance and remain drop in friendly all year.
Performance Commitment Policy
Students enrolled in performing classes who wish to opt out of the year-end show must do so by January 15th.
After January 15th, all performing students will be charged a non-refundable Performance Fee. Don’t worry, this is not an extra charge. The performance fee includes $20 for the performance video and a $50 costume deposit per performing piece. Once final costume costs are confirmed, students will either be invoiced the remaining balance or refunded any overpayment.
Please note: If a student withdraws from the performance after committing, all Performer Deposits are non-refundable. This policy helps offset the administrative and choreographic challenges caused by late withdrawals.
Non-performing students are welcome to transfer into another class at or before Spring Break or continue participating in the performance class with the understanding that an increasing amount of class will be dedicated to rehearsal as we get closer to the show.
For registered dancers who are not performing: June Class Cancellations due to show week schedules will be credited to your Flex Pass by April 1st. Please see calendar for more details.
Cancellation Policy:
When you make the commitment to register we make the commitment to offering you a variety of classes to challenge and enrich your life. Should a scheduled class be cancelled due to low enrolment or other unavoidable circumstances we offer full refunds or to reschedule you to another class of your choice. As we also make our own commitments based on your registration, June tuition is non-refundable, and acts as a deposit based on your commitment to complete the year. Should the need to cancel arise during the year we require 1-weeks notice to stop payments.
Additional Fees:
Registration Fee: To help with the additional admin we ask a one time registration fee of $25 after September 1st, register by August 31st to waive the registration fee.
Late Payment Fee: Subscription payments that fail and are not resolved within 5 days will incur a $30 NSF fee on your next payment. Payments beyond 14 days late will result in immediate cancellation and forfeit of June deposit.
Course change fee: We provide one free class change per year, subsequent changes require a $35 class change fee to help with admin.
Sharing our space:
As we share our dance space with a church we are occasionally forced to reschedule or relocate our classes during the year. Any additional class cancellations or planned studio closures during the 38 weeks of registered classes, will result in bonus classes being added to your flex pass account, when class is not rescheduled.
