Registration
Claim your spot! Registration is meant for students wishing to commit to a weekly class for the full year. By registering you are guaranteed a spot in your class and receive many perks.
Your first payment includes a non- refundable $25 registration fee and your June fees which are a non-refundable deposit.
Registration for the 2026-2027 studio year is based on a 37 week studio year. Late registration will be prorated based on the number of weeks remaining in the course.
PERKS OF REGISTRATION
Growth and Improvement! Your body responds best to consistent, regular classes. Our classes are designed progressively and your class will be building on material constantly. For physical strength building, injury prevention, and to get the most out of your training and experience, consistency in class is important.
We save you a spot! By registering, you are guaranteed a spot in your class, without having to sign up each day. Drop-in dancers are welcome space permitting, however the class will focus on the needs and progress of registered dancers.
Performance! Seda’s year end show is an experience exclusive to registered full-year students. This enriching and wonderful opportunity is a showcase of all our talent, dedication and hard-work.
Class Discounts! Dancers who are registered receive progressive discounts on additional classes between 10% and 67%
FLEX PASS
We know you have a busy schedule and that sometimes things come up. Dancers who register for full-year classes, will receive a FLEX Pass with a bonus Flex Class which is redeemable October 1st - June 16th as well as limited Makeup Classes.
In order to claim a Makeup Class, you must give notice at least 6 hours before the start time of the registered class you will be missing, to free up your spot.
The credit for making up your class will appear on your Mindbody account and may be used to book any regular dance class, space permitting.
The number of Makeup classes that may be awarded annually is based on your registration; these are limited as consistent attendance in your chosen course is important.
Once you have used up your maximum Makeup Classes and Flex Classes on your FLEX Pass, dancers must pay applicable drop-in fees.
Flex Passes and Makeup Classes are non-transferable and cannot be used for workshops, masterclasses, or towards sessional registration.
Performance
Classes labelled as “Performance” are a 10 month progressive course, and move into creation for our live performance at the year end show the week of June 16-20th. Non-performance classes remain drop in friendly all year.
For full year registered dancers in non-performing classes, June Class Cancellations due to show week schedules will be credited to your FLEX Pass as of April 1st. Please see calendar for more details.
Performance Commitment Policy
Any dancer in a Performing Class that chooses to transfer to a Non-Performing class in the spring will need to notify the studio no later than Jan 10th
Non-performing students are welcome to transfer into another class at Spring Break or continue participating in the performance class with the understanding that an increasing amount of class will be dedicated to rehearsal as we get closer to the show.
Performers Fee
A Performers Deposit will be charged on Jan 15th for all dancers in Performance classes or participating in extra Choreography projects. This is not an added charge but is a deposit to cover:
$20 charge for video of your show in June
$50 deposit towards your costume (per piece that you are in)
(Costumes typically range from $25-100 per costumes, with our average cost coming in at $75)
This deposit is not refundable as purchases will be made and late changes cannot be accommodated.
Cancellation Policy:
When you make the commitment to register, we make the commitment to offer you the stability and quality dance instruction we are known for. Progressive classes and a committed group supports growth, inspiration and challenge. We also make our own commitments based on your registration with excellent faculty, a beautiful space, and creative productions. We rely on initial registration to guide our season. Should a scheduled class be cancelled due to low enrolment or other unavoidable circumstances, we offer full refunds or reschedule you to another class of your choice. June tuition is non-refundable, and acts as a deposit based on your commitment to complete the year. Cancellations during the year will only be permitted due to injury, serious illness or other exceptional circumstances. Should the need arise to cancel or hold your registration, we require 1-weeks notice to stop your next payment. If you are not planning to stay all year we recommend you to take advantage of a Sessional course, or a drop in DANCE Pass.
Additional Fees:
• Registration Fee: $25 - All registered students must pay the $25 registration fee to begin their registration process. This fee is non-refundable.
• Change Course Fee: $25 – For full year course changes we ask a $25 change fee, to cover associated admin. Fee waived in cases of studio approved level change.
• NSF Fee: $30 - Any returned charge, whether NSF cheque or rejected Credit Card instalment is subject to a $30 NSF fee. Students have a 5-day grace period to resolve the issue. At that time the NSF charge will be charged to their account.
• Late Fee: $30 - Monthly payments by E-transfer are due by the 1st of the month; 1st late payment will result in a warning, and subsequent late payments will result in a $30 late fee.
Sharing our space:
As we share our dance space with a church we are occasionally forced to reschedule or relocate our classes during the year. Any additional class cancellations or planned studio closures during the studio year, will result in bonus classes being added to your flex pass account, when class is not rescheduled.
